Congratulations to Nolan Schneider!

Nolan, a senior at Maranatha Christian Academy, is headed to St. John’s University, where he will major in Finance while continuing his athletic career in both baseball and football.

Nolan’s college search is a great example of a process coming full circle. He began with an interest in St. John’s, but rather than settling early, he fully leaned into exploring his options. He researched, visited, and applied to a wide range of schools—evaluating everything from academics and campus environment to athletic opportunities. Through that process, he gained clarity on what truly mattered to him, ultimately returning to St. John’s with confidence that it was the right fit.

As his parents shared, Nolan took real ownership of his search. He thoughtfully considered a variety of pathways—from mid-sized universities to junior colleges, urban and rural campuses—before narrowing in on the environment where he could thrive. His willingness to explore broadly gave him the perspective needed to make a strong, informed decision.

Throughout the process, Nolan and his family made great use of College Inside Track resources, including the Custom College Plan, which helped keep everything organized, and the Financial Aid Comparison Tool, which simplified evaluating offers and provided valuable insight into the financial side of decisions.

At St. John’s, Nolan is excited about the culture, the campus, and the outstanding athletic facilities. He built strong relationships with both coaching staffs and is looking forward to competing in both baseball and football at the collegiate level. Beyond athletics, he’s eager to meet new people, build friendships, and fully engage in the college experience.
