Congratulations to Solomon Secor!
Solomon is headed to the University of Colorado Boulder, where he will study Engineering.
Solomon’s college journey was shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and experiences far beyond the classroom. Having spent time sailing the Pacific Ocean with his father, Solomon learned early how to navigate uncertainty, work through challenges, and stay calm when plans changed. Those same qualities became a major strength throughout the college search process.
With support from his College Inside Track consultant, Solomon approached each step with confidence and organization, staying ahead of schedule and reducing much of the stress that often comes with college applications. As Solomon shared:
“Your guidance made a huge difference. One thing I especially appreciated was how organized and ahead of schedule you kept me compared to a lot of other students. That helped make the process a lot less stressful and gave me more confidence in my applications. I’m really excited about attending CU Boulder next year.”
One of the most meaningful parts of Solomon’s process was learning how to tell his own story. His real-life experiences sailing and overcoming challenges at sea provided authentic material that helped his applications stand out. Together with his consultant, Solomon was able to reflect on those experiences and present them in a way that genuinely captured who he is and what he values.
For Solomon’s father, the process brought both excitement and reassurance. As he shared, “We are all beyond pleased with the outcome, and we know it’s in no small part due to your expertise, guidance, and follow-through.”
At CU Boulder, Solomon is excited to begin his next adventure studying Engineering while embracing all the opportunities that come with college life in Boulder. His consultant summed it up perfectly: “I am excited for his next move to CU Boulder, where I am sure he will navigate well this next adventure.”
